Laptop Monday
Co-Working Group

Chorleywood Orchestra

Laptop Monday is a co-working group for people who usually work from home, but every now and again want to work in an environment with other people.

The Chiltern Chamber decided to get involved to create a place for local people to connect, chat, seek support and develop relationships with like-minded professionals.

There is no membership fee, no attendance fee and no commitment required. If you want to come, come. If you don’t, don’t. Free WiFi available (to an acceptable standard!) and (almost always) free parking, all you pay is for is whatever you order from the venue.

We run from 9.30am to 12.30pm but it’s very much on a drop-in basis – you can arrive and leave when it works for you.

Remember, this is not a networking group, but please feel free to chat about what you do, bring your business cards and even connect on LinkedIn!

Our key rule – Be kind and courteous. We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

Please Note

In light of current conditions, Laptop Monday events have been postponed until the situation is more settled. Updates to follow.

What our members say:

Since joining Chiltern Chamber of Commerce in 2015, I have made a number of useful contacts and found opportunities to develop my business. I have been very impressed by the quality but also the friendliness and informality of the events and by the level of support (and sheer hard work) offered by the Chamber team. I particularly enjoy the wide range of networking events which are all well attended by local businesses. For our business, it has been a great investment. We are always looking for ways to connect with small and medium sized businesses, and as a seasoned networker I can honestly say that it has proved fruitful to be a member of the Chamber and use their marketing channels to promote our business to the membership.
