Silverson Machines Ltd. recognised for Excellence in Manufacturing and services to the Chesham Community

Chiltern Chamber of Commerce was delighted to present their prestigious Special Recognition Award to Harold and David Rothman of Silverson Machines Limited. The company is a world class manufacturer of very high quality mixing machines made in Chesham.

The presentation was hosted by Rotary Club of Chesham at their regular Friday lunchtime meeting at Chartridge Park Golf Club on Friday 11th October.

Councillor Jane MacBean from Chesham Town Council attended the event, and said how proud the Town was to have Silverson working in Chesham for over 50 years  – employing 120 people – and for its contributions to the local community and charities.

Silverson was also recognised for its very successful apprenticeship scheme, and its significant investment in a purpose built apprentice training centre based in Waterside, Chesham.

Jeremy Wyman, President of Rotary Club of Chesham, and Nicola Ryall, Chair of Chiltern Chamber of Commerce, passed on their congratulations to Harold and David Rothman and wished them ongoing growth and success.
