The Chiltern Chamber were delighted to be hosted by South Bucks Hospice at their Butterfly House facility for an early evening social mingling and fund raiser for SBH. Members and guests of the Chamber were welcome with a glass of fizz kindly sponsored by the Chair of Chamber, Karen Pawlowska from TakeOneTV.com and the delicious spread of food provided by Andy Garnett at The Garnett Foundation.
The evening saw 25 people mix and mingle as we learnt more about local businesses and of course the work of the South Bucks Hospice who are currently merging with Florence Nightingale Hospice. The merger will mean Florence Nightingale can offer additional much needed day services to clients, and for South Bucks Hospice opens the doors to the support of the larger group with night service.
The opportunity was also taken to make a formal presentation of the new Chamber Jewel of Office to Karen Pawlowska as Chair of the Chamber. The new Chamber jewel was designed by John Groves of TakeOneTV.com and sponsored by Andy Garnett of the Garnett Foundation. It was the first time that Chamber regalia had been used since before covid and is a fitting indication of how the Chamber has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years.
